Agreement to terms

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to Cardrine's website, applications, waitlist, and gift card trading services (together, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

02

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement, and reside in a jurisdiction where the Service is available. You are responsible for ensuring your use of the Service complies with applicable laws in your location.

03

Accounts and security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Cardrine may provide two-factor authentication, device controls, and session controls; you agree to use available security features and keep your account information accurate.

Notify us immediately at security@cardrine.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

04

Gift card trading

Cardrine provides a marketplace for buying and selling gift cards. Each trade may include verification and review. We may decline, hold, cancel, or reverse a trade if a card cannot be verified, appears fraudulent, violates these Terms, or raises legal or security concerns.

  • Listed offer rates are indicative and may change before a trade is confirmed.
  • You confirm that any gift card you submit was lawfully obtained, is owned by you, and is free of restrictions that would prevent transfer.
  • Cardrine does not guarantee acceptance of every card or a fixed resale value.
05

Fees and payouts

Applicable fees, supported payout methods, and processing times will be shown in the Service before you confirm a trade. Payouts are released after a trade is confirmed and required checks are complete. Processing times may vary by payout method, provider, and region. Cardrine is not responsible for delays caused by third-party payment networks.

06

Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

  • Submit gift cards that are stolen, fraudulently obtained, or otherwise unlawfully held.
  • Use the Service to launder funds or evade tax, sanctions, or other legal obligations.
  • Misrepresent your identity, location, or any information about a card or trade.
  • Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
  • Use automated tools to access the Service in a way that interferes with normal operation.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules and report unlawful activity to the appropriate authorities.

07

Risk disclosure

Gift card values, availability, verification, and payout options may vary. Trade outcomes can differ from listed offers and timing estimates. Cardrine does not guarantee acceptance of every card or fixed resale value. Cardrine is not a bank and is not a licensed money transmitter unless explicitly stated. You acknowledge these risks before confirming any trade.

08

Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, content, and trademarks, is owned by Cardrine or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. Brand names and logos shown for illustrative gift card examples remain the property of their respective owners.

09

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cardrine disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Cardrine does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components.

10

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cardrine and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the fees you paid to Cardrine in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim or one hundred U.S. dollars.

11

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Cardrine and its affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

12

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or if required by law. You may stop using the Service at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership, disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

13

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Cardrine is established, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of these Terms will be resolved in the courts located in that jurisdiction, except where applicable consumer law gives you a non-waivable right to bring proceedings in your home jurisdiction.

14

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. If changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice through the Service or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
